Steam – In Game Overlay Not Working Win8

Yesterday I upgraded to Windows 8. Everything worked perfect, except 1 thing. Steam in game overlay. Now the overlay worked for non-valve games such as Supreme Commander 2 and Eufloria but did not work for Team fortress 2 and Counter Strike. After talking with friends which had about the same setup, they told me theirs worked!

After digging around I found the issue. Mumble! “The Steam Overlay doesn’t work in Windows 8 if you are running Mumble with the Mumble overlay enabled.”

Unchecked the box in mumble, fired up TF2 and BAM! Works again!

I don’t have Mumble 🙁 do I download it and do this to fix it?
